Rush Limbaugh-Left ignores torture by terrorists

"The left in this country, the Democrat Party, the Drive-By Media are all joined at the hip in trying to convince as many people of this country that we suck. This is the worst example of humanity and civilization on the planet today. When real examples of depravity and torture occur as committed by our enemy, we don't hear a word about it. We don't hear one condemnation. We don't hear Senator Kennedy getting on the phone, getting on the Senate floor, or Durbin, speaking to they don't ever, bin Laden or Mookie al-Sadr and demanding that this stuff cease. No, they blame Bush for it. They blame Bush for going in there in the first place. They even go so far as to say, "Well, we understand these people's behavior, we invaded their country, we had no reason, it has nothing to do with 9/11. Of course they're acting this way. We must learn who these people are so we don't offend them any further." It makes me want to throw up. All because I happened to see this story about a kid tortured with electrodes attached to the tongue, and I know damn well I'm not going to hear about it anywhere else. Even if I do, I won't hear any outrage expressed over it. In the meantime, a slug and dishonest movie maker is over getting more accolades for an attack on his own country by a bunch of people who wouldn't know what this country is really all about. In fact, most of the people over there wouldn't be who they are if it weren't for this country. They wouldn't have the prosperity and the wealth they have if it weren't for this country. "

Rush Limbaugh: the Drive by left

RUSH: I am reaching the boiling point about all of this "coarsening of the culture" garbage that the left is accusing people like me and Matt Drudge and Sean Hannity and others of committing on talk radio and so forth. Some of the most vile hatred is expressed in this country by the Drive-By Media at our president, at our military, by their blogs and by their talk show hosts. It is they who write books and do movies on assassinating our president. It is they who are constantly trying to undermine this country's cohesiveness. They are doing things to keep us constantly in tumult and chaos. Everything is doom and gloom. They are lying through their teeth about global warming. They are trying to set us up for tax increases to assuage our sin and guilt for "destroying the planet." If there's anybody out there that's coarsening the culture, and is making a mockery of modern day journalism by committing journalistic malpractice, the assaults that have occurred on George W. Bush -- both in books, in movies, in terms of his assassination -- and the never ending verbal drumbeat that has come ever since he was inaugurated, dwarfs anything that is taking place on the right.

By far, it is not even close. These people are Stalinists. They cannot stand an opposing point of view in their midst, and so they come up with policies and programs that are designed to discredit or silence people they don't want to hear. They hate debate because to them there is no debate. There is no alternative to their sick, perverse view of human nature and life, and in way too many cases, their sick, perverse view of this country. If you listen to the left in this country, our military is nothing but a bunch of torturers, rapists and murderers -- and they gleefully report this! If you listen to the left in this country, our president is human debris. He's a liar, he's a murderer, and all he wants is oil for himself and his buddies. Ditto Dick Cheney. Ditto Donald Rumsfeld. Ditto Condoleezza Rice. Look at the cartoons that they did of Condoleezza Rice which were despicable and racist and bigoted, and they are never called on it! Look at the way they botch their own jobs, getting things wrong. Now look at what NBC is doing by creating all these copycat mass murderers out there.

Rush- Democrtic defeatists

"I think they're looking at "24" now just as a television show. They're judging it on the basis of a television show. I don't think people are watching "24" right now in the guise of understanding what could happen or what is possible in this country. I'm serious. I do think a lot of people in this country wanted to forget it because it's traumatic, and we don't show the pictures of it very often. You couple that with the way the Democrats and the Drive-Bys have been talking about the whole business. We don't belong in Iraq. It's now our fault, the Brits are saying, that the Iranians took these 15 hostages. It's always our fault! It's exactly what I told you Friday: We're the big guys. We don't have any excuse for doing what we do. All of the minorities out there, the smaller nations, they have every reason to do whatever they want. They can break the law. They can violate Geneva. They can do whatever they do because they're up against us. That's the liberal mind-set. Now, we had 19 people who flew themselves into buildings with our airplanes, and they didn't just cut off their arms, ladies and gentlemen.

They created a burning inferno, brought down two buildings, 220 stories of buildings, in a fireball that was thousands of degrees, and people have found a way to forget it. Now, I'm a little off on a tangent here, but the bottom line is that the Democrats are invested in the concept of obliterating 9/11 from as many memories as possible and convincing as many Americans as possible there's no need for a war on terror -- and in fact, the war on terror is causing Muslims to hate us, and then if there are any future attacks, it's going to be because of Bush. That's what's being set up here. That's why I don't think what the Democrats are engaging in is theatrics. I don't think that Dingy Harry or Nancy Pelosi or any of these people are engaged in theatrics at all. We're seeing them as they really are! They are telling us who they really are. They're not actors on a stage. These people are emboldened. They're feeling confident, all kinds of self-esteem. They're unabashed in showing us who they really are and what their objectives are, and we haven't even gotten to Nancy Pelosi and Syria."
