Lt. Col. Allen West is a man of great integrity, courage and honor and I fully support and endorse his campaign for Congress. The character traits noted above are in perilously slim supply in our elected representatives these days.

Lt. Col. West sacrificed his career as an Army commanding officer and risked his very freedom to conduct an aggressive interrogation of a terrorist who ultimately revealed information that ultimately saved the lives of some of his men. he did this without injuring the captured enemy fighter.

i am a former Air Force fighter pilot with two combat tours in Vietnam. I met and still know many combat soldiers from my time there, and I rate Lt. Col. West among the very best of them.

He is exactly the sort of man we need in congress and I hope and pray that his efforts to achieve that goal are successful, not for his sake but for ours.

If my grandson is ever sent to a combat zone I hope he is fortunate enough to have a leader of Lt. Col. West's caliber.

Soft on Crime Politicians.........no guns here ....so blaming imported guns as an excuse doesn't work...

They have spent billions on social engineering which hasn't worked with a number of bad apples.Unfortunately some politicians can't get their minds around the fact that there are bad apples and keep making excuses instead of dealing with the problem.They blame everybody but themselves.It's easier that way but after a while the Emperor has no clothes and people can see through their ineffective statements and policies..


What causes violence is the mentality of the person using the gun or knife not the weapon themselves.Where did they get this mentality that they could use violence to get their way? ...after billions have been spent on social engineering and free education. Those using violence are in this country , not the USA .They use it because the various government's have been soft on crime .They think politicians are fools since they keep making excuses or PR announcements with no teeth. Instead of blaming guns or the U.S. , some of the politicians need to not only say enough is enough but they will no longer tolerate the violence....by actions not words. No more revolving doors, no more drug dealing at schools,using the bully pulpit to get through to the Justice system that short sentences for violent acts are unacceptable. Shifting Officers from revenue generation to gang suppression..


Since education is the key to becoming productive citizens , including learning trades, why are young people in the Malls during school hours? If they have chosen to become violent drug dealers than productive citizens, then the politicians need to address it instead of shuffling their feet, twiddling their thumbs and blaming others. Pretending the place is safe without taking the necessary steps to actually make it safe means that some politicians are shirking their primary responsibilities.
