As an aside- temperatures can fluctuate 40 degrees in one day and they are talking about a 1 degree change in 50 -100 years? We're lucky we can get accurate forecasts for one week let alone 50 years down the road......but the drum beat continues .......

Even more disturbing is the insouciance with which guns are used. An 18-year-old Angolan refugee was sentenced to life this week for shooting dead a woman holding a baby at a christening party, in what was otherwise a "routine" robbery."

Seems like they are back in the empire building business with taxpayers' money.There are plenty of constructive places to spend those millions- if they are so flush with funds, maybe they can give the money to the ER's or fix the roads or clean the graffiti off every street corner or protect the public or protect seniors from being booted from their homes because of high property taxes( How's that "Study" coming along on property taxes?)....
