"Britain and the west are facing the appalling threat currently posed by Iran. Israel in Lebanon was fighting Hezbollah, the proxy of Iran, because of an Iranian-backed onslaught against the country that is the front line of the defence of the free world. For Britain’s Foreign Secretary — who in her speech made only a glancing reference to Iran — to airbrush out of the picture altogether the country that was the target of Iran last August, fail to acknowledge the strategic significance of the attack upon it and refer instead only to the ‘terrible events’ carried out by that country in its own defence, is a terrifying indication of the extreme inadequacy of Her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs at this most critical juncture in world history"
