CUPE-curious indeed

"Glance at CUPE Ontario's web site these days (cupe.on.ca) and you'd think that of all the issues confronting its members, their biggest concern is boycotting Israel.

The union's home page seems obsessed with Israel.

Not union contracts and labour negotiations, mind you. Israel.

Yesterday, the lead item on the page, beside a logo of CUPE Ontario President Sid Ryan, who also writes for the Sun, was a link to a Globe column Ryan wrote last week titled "Slurs will not silence us."
