If anybody is really interested in the transformation of the criminal justice system over the past 10 years ,they can read Palango's book.The government has virtually handcuffed the police who are undermanned by thousands of officers and allowed criminals with guns to prey on society.If there were any enterprising journalists left in the country ,it wouldn't be difficult for them to connect the dots beneath the radar screens.People are getting murdered over drugs, turf,power.Who are the suppliers?
