Many grandiose plans-little enforcement and revolving door justice
"Therein lies our problem -- with guns, drugs and every other kind of crime. No wonder the so-called minimum penalties for gun crimes we do have are watered down by so many judges. If soft-on-crime Liberals and their supporters won't demand their own laws are strongly enforced, what hope do crime-ravaged cities have?"
Canadians who want to understand what's happened to our national police force over the past 12 years should read Paul Palango's book" The Last Guardians" which was published in 1999 so it shouldn't come as a surprise why things have been falling apart and why the RCMP are undermanned by at least 2200 officers and underfunded. Most crime and security announcements were basically smoke and mirror announcements giving the advantage to crooks and terrorists.Only in Canada can having fewer officers than 12 years ago be considered having better security for Canadians
