Drugs 'n guns n' gangs....................Instead of name calling , they should be concentrating on dealing with the criminals instead of coddling
Welcome to Kate's Readers!
There's a massive drug trade going on, it's been going on for years and everybody's been playing let's make a deal and now they are into the usual buck passing mode. What's so difficult about making sure the criminals ,whatever their background , are off the streets for a long enough time to protect the rest of the 3,000,000 law abiding citizens.
Look at the Canada Post mailboxes, most have gang graffiti on them staking out their territory, their drug territory. Not the citizens of Toronto's territory, the gang's territory- they own it and they protect it with guns. We've heard plenty of excuses. The public deserves to be protected from hoodlums no matter what part of the city they live in.In case people have forgotten , they can refresh themselves with William Bratton's "broken window theory".If they need a place to start, get the local MP's who have been rather silent as if they seem to be completely unaware of any crime problem because the stats say crime is down-(and inflation's only 2% and the check's in the mail)to get Canada Post to repaint their mailboxes-that's a signal that their criminal behaviour is no longer going to be tolerated and the citizens are going to take back their streets. If they don't know how to get a handle on this then some people shouldn't be in their positions or you can end up with the violence ,that is drug related, like this:

That's for a population of only about 3,000,000. Nip it in the bud or it escalates.Too many people have avoided the issues for too long.
