RCMP ambush 'a wake-up call'..- some people apparently forgot what Maintiens le Droit stands for- too busy writing reports
"Saying the deaths of their "boys" won't be in vain, the families of four Mounties killed near Mayerthorpe are demanding a national debate on Canada's criminal justice system, a fight they will take to Ottawa in the fall."
The murder of these four men is a wake-up call. If we walk away from this with no changes, then we will forget what they died for. They died to maintain the right, and we dare not abandon that....."
While short on specifics, Schiemann said Parliament needs to take a close look at several issues, including Canada's national drug strategy and the resources and funding of the RCMP.....
Keith Myrol, whose son Brock had joined the Mayerthorpe detachment on Feb. 14, only two weeks before the tragedy, told the Herald that the campaign is still in its "grassroots" stages, but would be ready to take to Ottawa when the House of Commons resumes after summer".

Looks like this is one "grassroots " organization that should be getting support from the Canadian public. After all, the four RCMP officers were murdered trying to protect Canadians. As we are all painfully aware, the RCMP are undermanned and underfunded and that needs to change.

Just like our military... Must have something to do with the left's allergic reaction to scary guns - it's addled their brains.
We're too busy making deals with the NDP to write a cheque for the RCMP, after all. I'd like to see this campaign grow some legs.
An RCMP officer must develop the patience of Jobe.
They go to the effort to produce evidence in court that convicts a violent offender of smashing someone's face and almost blinding them with the broken eyeglasses.
This was an unprovoked attack, yet the judge allows this felon to walk with some community service penalty.
Martin lays work bonuses on all his non-performing Govt. lackeys so they will not squeal on Libscamming, but he can not afford six months room and board for a knuckle dragger who goes about breaking faces.
Some law and order we have in this country.
If you have the slighest doubt about this factual story, then don't. I can provide photo-copies of the original court papers.
The felon in question had similar priors, but that was inadmissable in court.
RCMP work is no picnic. 73s TG at BendGovt.blog.ca
